Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Your safari begins with an early departure from Kampala or Entebbe, heading west toward Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy a stop at the Equator for photos and continue through beautiful savannah landscapes.

Arrive in time for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive. Lake Mburo is home to zebras, impalas, elands, topis, buffaloes, hippos, and giraffes.

Main Activities are Visiting the Equator, Afternoon game drive and Optional evening boat ride

Overnight: Lake Mburo National Park

 

Day 2: Morning Walking Safari and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Start your morning with a walking safari, one of Mburo’s signature experiences. Walk with a ranger and get close to wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, warthogs, and antelopes.

Return for breakfast, check out, and begin the scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy rolling hills, farmlands, and the dramatic Kigezi Highlands along the way. Arrive at your lodge in time for dinner and relaxation.

Main Activities include Walking safari and a Scenic drive to Bwindi.

 

 

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. Embark on a thrilling trek through thick jungle, guided by expert rangers. Once you locate the gorilla family, spend one unforgettable hour observing their behaviors and interactions.

After the trek, transfer to nearby Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most beautiful and serene lakes. Check in and relax with stunning views over the islands

 

Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi Relaxation and Return to Kampala or Entebbe

Wake up to the tranquil sounds of the lake and enjoy a relaxed morning. Take an optional boat ride or simple lodge relaxation before starting the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.
